Every dog is different – and that’s reflected in the insurance price. We calculate your price based on clear and fair risk factors. Here are the most important ones that affect what you pay:

• Breed: some breeds have a higher risk of certain illnesses than others.

• Age: puppies and young dogs are usually cheaper to insure than older dogs.

• Location: vet prices and how often people visit the vet can vary between different parts of the country.

• Sex and neutering: dogs that are spayed or neutered have a lower risk of some illnesses.

• Your choice of cover: the deductible levels and annual vet care limit you choose will affect the price.
