This is an English translation of Lassie's Swedish terms of use, provided for your convenience only.

Terms of use for the mobile application (Lassie) and website (lassie.co) provided by Lassie AB (Reg. no. 559268-8310) for the Swedish market. Separate terms also apply to the products and services provided through the app and the website.

1. Introduction

Welcome to the terms of use of Lassie AB ("Lassie", "we", "us" and "our" all refer to Lassie AB). These terms of use govern your use of both our website and our mobile application (together, the "Platforms"). By using either of the Platforms, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use our Platforms.

2. About Lassie

Lassie AB is an insurance intermediary and is supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) as an insurance distributor in accordance with the Swedish Insurance Distribution Act (Lag (2018:1219) om försäkringsdistribution). The insurer for Lassie AB's insurance products is Dina Försäkring AB.

3. Use of the Platforms

You agree to use our Platforms only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. In particular, you may not:

  • use the Platforms in any way that breaches applicable local, national or international laws or regulations,

  • use the Platforms for fraudulent, misleading or harmful purposes,

  • send unsolicited commercial communications, harmful data or malicious code,

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our Platforms, systems or networks,

  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Platforms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platforms if we reasonably believe that you have breached these terms.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Platforms, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, trademarks and educational material, is owned, unless otherwise stated, by its licensors, Lassie AB or Lassie AB's partners, and is protected by Swedish and international intellectual property law.

You may only use content on the Platforms for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, modify or create derivative works of any content without our prior written consent.

5. User accounts

Certain features of our Platforms require you to register and create a user account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate, current and complete information,

  • keep your login details confidential and secure,

  • notify us without delay if you suspect unauthorised access to or use of your account,

  • take responsibility for all activity that takes place under your account.

The Platforms are intended for users aged 18 or over. By using the Platforms, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if we have reason to believe that the account information is incorrect or that the account is being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

7. Cookies

Our Platforms use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience, analyse usage and support our services. By continuing to use the Platforms, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with our cookie policy, available at: https://www.lassie.co/cookiepolicy

You can manage or withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies at any time through your browser settings or our cookie settings centre on the Platforms.

8. Limitation of liability

We take reasonable steps to ensure that our Platforms function properly and that the information is accurate, but we cannot guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Lassie is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind that is in any way connected with the use of, or inability to use, the Platforms or their content, or that is in any way connected with these terms. This applies except where otherwise required by mandatory law.

9. Links to other websites

Our Platforms contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided solely for your convenience. We have no control over the content of these websites and are not responsible for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Visiting a linked website is at your own risk.

10. Changes to the terms of use

We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we will publish the updated terms on the Platforms and update the "Last updated" date at the end of this document. If the changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, through a notice on the Platforms or by email).

Your continued use of the Platforms after the changes have been published means that you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the Platforms.

12. Governing law

These terms of use shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms of use shall be settled by a Swedish court, unless otherwise required by mandatory law protecting you as a consumer.
